14633 SMD Ionic Contamination Ionograph

The Alpha Metals 500M SMD Ionic Contamination Ionograph Series is designed to test ionic contamination accurately and quickly, assuring cleanlines to comply with MIL-STD-2000A, ANSI/J-STD-001, IPC-TM-650, and other standards. The large test cell is used to control both non-cleaning and cleaning processes in assmebled/printed circuit board production.

The Ionograph also performs cleanliness tests of cleanroom products: tools, manufacturing equipment, gloves, gowns and assembly components that are critical in the production process. Spray fluxer set-up and monitoring as well as low residue non-clean processes can also be controlled with the Alpha Metals Ionograph unit.

500M Ionograph units are controlled by PC or the Ionograph 500M Command Module, helping to determine whether products comply with common industry standards. Amongst a variety of applications, the 500M Ionograph tests components and boards prior to flux application, avoiding encapsulated contaminants.
